I, Punit Dhawan firmly believe that comfort zone is an enemy to one’s self-growth. Here, in this article, I will explain why it is so important to get out of your comfort zone. According to me, comfort zone is when you are comfortable living a life that is miserable. It is when you don’t want to put yourself in a new situation or make an effort to grow. But, if you are truly willing to do something in life, then you will first have to get out of your comfort zone.
Punit Dhawan Tells How to Get Out of Your Comfort Zone
Start by seeking new opportunities that will give you a chance to experience something new and different in life. These experiences will help give you a new perspective in life. Once you start to look at things from a fresh perspective, it will also be easier for you to break your old habits.
I know that getting out of your comfort zone is not an easy thing. It will leave you exhausted and tired at first. But, with time, you will realize that it was worth all the effort. “Look into your past and think how many times things went well despite your self-doubts. You’ll notice that most of the times nothing negative actually happened, no matter how much you feared it. So it is really important that you get out of your comfort zone and let go of your self-doubts” So, the more effort you put, the more rewarding and enriching your life will become.
I feel that people who live in their comfort zone cannot grow in life. Despite being discontent with their life and things around them, they refuse to take any action to improve their condition. It is as if you are living a meaningless life that has nothing to look forward to. Therefore, it is up to you to make a choice. Either you can choose to live an easy and routine life, or break your comfort zone and take risks to mark your personal or professional growth.
See the Possibilities in the Impossible
In order to get out of your comfort zone, you will have to push yourself harder. You will have to try things that right now seem impossible for you to experience or achieve. In my opinion, it is discomfort that helps push your boundaries and inspires you to change and grow.
